What you will do:
- Validate and authorise clinical laboratory results, ensuring accuracy before issuing reports to clinicians.
- Interpret results from routine to complex tests, adding valuable insights.
- Communicate critical or urgent results directly to clinicians or nursing staff, escalating to more senior staff when necessary.
- Recommend and initiate further tests or actions, collaborating with senior staff or Consultants as required.
- Manage and prioritise your workload along with that of any trainees or support staff.

BMS requirements:
To excel in this role, you must hold HCPC registration and possess a relevant qualification in biomedical science. Previous experience within the field of biomedical science is crucial to ensure competence and confidence in your duties.
