Care Assistant - Care Home (island Of Alderney) in Alderney

Applications are invited from experienced Care Assistants with a genuine committment to working with older people to join the team at our clients 27 bedded Residential Care Home on the beautiful Island of Alderney, in the Channel Islands. 
The salary range is £13.70 to £16.34 for days (08:00-20:00), and £16.34 to £19.94 for night duty (20:00-08:00)  

The Home strives to provide affordable and sustainable care to the elderly residents of Alderney and has a long history of providing care and support and is essential for the island's ageing population, which is expected to continue to increase in future years.
The Home is currently undergoing extension and will extend to 52-beds single occupancy, with en-suite. 

Please note:
Employer sponsorship (CoS) is not offered with this position; applicants must be British or Irish nationals, or UK permanent residents. 
Initial Single Staff Accommodation is offered with the role, this is currently an available room in the home, and provided for your first few months on the island.

Person requirements:
At least six months experience in an appropriate Older Adult care setting.
Passionate about working with older people of varying levels of dependancy 
The desire to work in a team and organisation committed to person-centred care and giving you time to care.
Independent and non time-limited leave to remain in the UK (not requiring employer sponsorship)
