What you will do:
- Participate actively in the duty system, responding to urgent safeguarding matters and supporting the allocated worker.
- Manage an allocated caseload of social work interventions, escalating complex issues as required.
- Conduct assessments and crisis planning, ensuring risk assessment and proportionate response.
- Collaborate with families and professionals to assess needs, identify risks, and ensure protection and support.
- Devise evidence-based plans, providing professional support and decisions for individuals and families.
- Engage in reflective practice, using supervision for complex cases and continuing your professional development.
- Transfer cases to the court team post-initial looked after review.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant frontline experience in UK Social Services.
