General Operative in Telford, West Midlands

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading company, in their search for a General Operative to work in their leading facility based in Telford.

For the successful General Operative our client is offering:

• Entry level pay rate £13.71 per hour, plus £40 uplift when on nights
  
• 3 shift rotation, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM rotating weekly 
• Temp-Perm 
• 6 month pay review, possibly increasing your pay to just over £15ph

The Role - General Operative:

• Follow instructions and understand the venting of the products
• Operating crane smoothly
• Ensure the product is dipped in the correct position to aid draining and finish
• Skimming and paddle the pot
• Clean product after galvanizing and be able to remove any spikes and drips
• Reporting to shift supervisor 

What our client is looking for in a General Operative:

• Somebody who is flexible to performing duties
• Happy with heavy lifting 
• Experience operating overhead crane- DESIRABLE
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment- ESSENTIAL
