What you will do:
- Process and report on specimens for bacterial, viral, and fungal pathogens using a wide range of techniques, including traditional culture methods and advanced Molecular/PCR techniques.
- Ensure all analyses are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring quality control protocols are adhered to.
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff, providing them with relevant and timely microbiological information.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices within the field of Microbiology.
To be considered for this thrilling opportunity, you must have HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in Biomedical Science. Post-qualification experience within biomedical science will bolster your application and equip you for success in our fast-paced environment.
