Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Adults Disability Team

What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and/or learning disabilities.

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate aids to promote independence, and assess the need for both major and minor adaptations.

• Perform manual handling assessments and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of all interventions.

• Promote independent living among citizens to avoid over-dependence on care services.

• Collaborate closely with the Council to ensure individuals can remain at home safely and comfortably for as long as feasible, thereby reducing care costs.

Requirements:

• Valid HCPC registration.

• Full driving licence and accessibility to a car for work purposes.
