What you will do:
- Build and nurture effective relationships with people, networks, communities, and professionals to achieve the best outcomes for residents, and adapt to various situations as they arise.
- Use appropriate frameworks to contribute to assessments, ensuring the right support is offered while considering cost-effectiveness.
- Organise resources efficiently and make necessary arrangements to carry out tasks swiftly and effectively.
- Participate in planning and reviewing cases and projects, using knowledge and analysis to deliver technical expertise.
- Manage your own caseload autonomously to deliver required outcomes, prioritising tasks when needed.
- Provide valuable feedback on operational issues to enhance service plans.
Requirements:
- Hold a recognised occupational therapy qualification and be registered with The Health and Care Professions Council.
- Ensure practice aligns with The Royal College of Occupational Therapists’ Professional standards and the HCPC Standards of Proficiency for Occupational Therapy.
- Possess knowledge and experience of relevant social care legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Be a confident team player with solid decision-making skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with partners and other agencies.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have regular access to a vehicle for work purposes.
