Occupational Therapist – Social Services Team
Location: Rochdale, UK
Rate: £30.00 per hour
Contract: Locum | Full Time | Ongoing
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Social Services Team in Rochdale. This role sits within a project-based review team, working closely alongside an Advanced Practitioner and Social Workers to review and enhance care packages for adults in Supported Living settings.

What You Will Do

Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments for adults in Supported Living environments, using a strengths-based and incremental approach.

Recommend and provide appropriate equipment and minor adaptations to support independence and safety.

Complete moving and handling assessments where required.

Work collaboratively with Social Workers and an Advanced Practitioner to review and improve existing care packages.

Ensure all practice meets HCPC standards, delivering safe, effective, and person-centred interventions.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, recommendations, and outcomes.
Requirements

HCPC registration is essential.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in adult social care or a similar role.
