What you will do:

Lead the operational management of the Independent Domestic Violence Advisory Service (IDVA).
Coordinate Adult Social Care’s involvement in MARAC and MAPPA processes across Manchester.
Support the development and implementation of domestic abuse and safeguarding policies.
Identify emerging risks and safeguarding trends within communities.
Work closely with voluntary sector organisations supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
Support Domestic Homicide Reviews, ensuring learning is shared across Adult Social Care services.
Provide professional advice and safeguarding guidance to colleagues across services.

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional qualification.
Registration with Social Work England.
Experience within Adult Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse services.
Strong knowledge of MARAC and MAPPA processes.
Enhanced DBS clearance.
