What You Will Do

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families in line with the Children Act 1989 and associated statutory guidance.

• Manage a caseload including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review care and support plans focused on achieving positive outcomes.

• Carry out direct work with children and families to promote safety, stability, and wellbeing.

• Prepare high-quality reports for Child Protection Conferences, reviews, and court proceedings.

• Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, working collaboratively with partner organisations.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed case records in line with statutory requirements.

• Engage in regular supervision, appraisal, and continuous professional development activities.
