What you will do

• Provide assertive, proactive support to individuals with substance misuse issues and complex needs.

• Manage a varied caseload, completing comprehensive assessments and developing personalised recovery plans.

• Deliver 1:1 key work sessions, POD work, and facilitate structured group interventions.

• Apply harm minimisation strategies, brief interventions, and recognised psychosocial approaches.

• Implement clinical and recovery-focused interventions in line with service policies and best practice.

• Work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Maintain accurate, timely case records in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

• Be available to start immediately or at short notice.

Essential requirements

• Experience working within substance misuse, criminal justice, or related support services.

• Strong assessment, engagement, and case management skills.

• Ability to work with individuals presenting complex and multiple needs.

• Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
