We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered General Nurse within General Nursing in Cheltenham. This ongoing locum role offers competitive hourly rates of £20.00 – £25.00, with the flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts. The position is based at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, a respected inpatient hospice specialising in compassionate palliative care.

What you will do:

Deliver comprehensive wound care and management to patients.
Conduct accurate drug rounds, ensuring safe and timely administration of medications.
Provide compassionate palliative care, tailored to individual patient needs and comfort.
Perform catheterisation procedures safely and effectively.
Monitor and manage fluid and electrolyte balance.
Operate syringe drivers accurately for effective medication delivery.
Administer IV medications safely and in line with clinical protocols.
Carry out blood transfusions, ensuring patient safety and monitoring throughout the procedure.

Shift times:

Early shifts: 07:30 – 20:30
Late shifts: 12:30 – 20:30
Long day shifts: 07:30 – 20:30
Night shifts: 20:00 – 08:00
