About the Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced RMN Team Leader to join the Community Living Team within the Adult Disability Service in Guernsey. This ongoing locum role offers competitive enhanced hourly rates across day, night, weekend, and bank holiday shifts.
You will provide clinical leadership while supporting individuals with mental health needs within a community living environment, ensuring high standards of evidence-based, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in line with best practice and clinical guidelines.

Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team, promoting a positive and effective working culture.

Monitor service user wellbeing, identifying and escalating clinical concerns appropriately.

Support individuals to engage in daily living activities using active support models to maximise independence.

Provide health education and promotion to service users and their families.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure effective communication within the team and wider support networks.

Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with active professional registration.

Previous leadership or senior nursing experience within mental health or community settings.

Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and evidence-based practice.

Ability to work independently and lead shifts effectively.
