Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Access Clinician to join our dynamic and innovative adult acute mental health team in Grimsby. What You Will Do

  • Advanced Clinical Assessments: Provide triage and clinical assessments at the mental health Single Point of Access, ensuring smooth and efficient entry into crisis services.

  • Interventions & Preventive Care: Implement brief interventions to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions or visits to A&E, promoting early intervention and support.

  • Collaboration with Agencies: Build strong relationships with key partners such as police, ambulance services, and local agencies to enhance support networks and improve service delivery.

  • Mental Health Awareness: Contribute to training and mental health awareness initiatives, particularly for acute hospital staff.

  • Care Plan Development: Work closely with service users and their networks to create safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care plans.

  • Leadership & Support: Offer site leadership to junior staff, encouraging a culture of learning and development within the team.
