What you will do:

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, needs, and risks, developing clear, child-focused plans.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and carers to support sustainable positive change.

  • Lead and contribute to safeguarding enquiries, responding effectively to concerns and allegations of harm.

  • Prepare clear, analytical reports and maintain accurate, high-quality case recordings.

  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver coordinated and effective support services.

  • Participate in reflective practice, team development, and service improvement initiatives.

  • Represent the service in court proceedings, preparing robust evidence and professional analysis when required.

Your day-to-day impact will include:

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification.

  • Registration with Social Work England.

  • Proven experience in frontline children’s social work.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding frameworks, and statutory guidance.

  • Compassion, resilience, and excellent communication skills.

Additional information:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

  • A flexible approach to meeting the needs of children, families, and service users is required.
