Job Title – Skilled Baker (Late Shift)
Location – Wimbledon, London
Salary – £30,000 – £34,000 + Overtime
Shift – 8-hour shifts starting at 1pm or 3pm (40 hours per week)

Job Role of the Skilled Baker

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Skilled Baker to join a busy and well-established bakery operation in London. This is a great opportunity to work within a high-volume, fast-paced production environment that prides itself on producing consistently high-quality baked goods.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily production of burger buns, breads, and pastries, working with modern bakery equipment and maintaining excellent production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Baking a range of breads and pastries to a high standard
• Hand moulding, mixing, and oven work
• Operating machinery including mixers, conveyors, weighing machines, and moulding equipment
• Working collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operations
• Maintaining hygiene, cleaning, and safety standards
• Minimising waste while ensuring consistent product quality
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Sector – Food Manufacturing

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a large-scale bakery environment
• Strong experience in hand moulding, mixing, and oven work

• Hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to meet production deadlines
• Self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail
• Takes pride in producing high-quality products
