What you will do:

  • Provide cover for our Independent Living Service and oversee the Community Occupational Therapy locality functions, including blue badge administration.
  • Focus on service improvement and implement recommendations from the recent service review to boost efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Play a vital role in supporting the council's strategic aims by delivering outstanding services that resonate with community needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster a unified approach to tackling challenges and innovate processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to maintain transparent and effective communication, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards possible.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy, complemented by recent UK experience in the field.
