Join the dedicated Pre Birth Team in North Tyneside as a Social Work Senior Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity that offers both full time and part time roles for experienced individuals ready to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional pre-birth intervention work. You will utilise the renowned Signs of Safety approach to support families and safeguard children from the point of referral through the pre-birth and post-natal period. With a robust background of at least four years in statutory social work, your expertise with Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans, and working with Children in Our Care will shine as you lead on complex cases and champion best practices.

What you will do:
- Implement high-quality pre-birth intervention strategies, using the Signs of Safety approach to effectively support families and ensure the safety of children.
- Work with parents from the initial point of referral through to the post-natal period, ensuring comprehensive support and intervention.
- Lead on complex cases, making critical decisions to achieve positive outcomes and best practices for children and their families.
- Navigate and manage statutory obligations with ease, focusing on Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans, and guiding Children in Our Care.
- Support families and children until final permanency plans are in place, which may involve long-term fostering or adoption.
