Social Worker - Children & Families Team - Cheltenham (UK) - £42 Hourly - Full Time - 3 Months

We offer an initial contract of 3 months where you will engage in impactful work with a caseload that includes Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC), along with some court work. This is a full-time locum position, providing you with the unique flexibility to manage your work-life balance through partial home working arrangements. You will be supported with the essential tools such as a laptop and smartphone, and an expectation of office presence three days a week to maintain team synergy and ensure face-to-face interaction with children remains a priority.

What you will do:
- Handle a caseload of approximately 18 children, focusing on providing effective, evidence-based interventions.
- Work across various case types including CIN, CP, and court-related responsibilities.
- Conduct thorough assessments, ensuring timely and impactful interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in multi-agency meetings to achieve the best outcomes for children and their families.
- Document all interventions and case notes accurately and in line with statutory requirements.
- Engage in regular face-to-face interactions with children to build trusting relationships and monitor their well-being.
