What you will do:

Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring a holistic approach to those subject to Child Protection and Children In Need processes.

Undertake comprehensive assessments including risk assessments in line with GIRFEC principles, developing detailed Child’s Plans.

Lead and contribute to child protection case conferences, core groups, and multi-agency meetings, advocating for the needs of children and families.

Develop and implement child-centred plans, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and development of each child in your care.
Person Specification:
Qualifications

Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)

Evidence of continued professional development
Registration & Compliance
-
Must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)

Knowledge of pertinent legislation, including the Children (Scotland) Act 1995, the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, and GIRFEC principles

Membership (or willingness to obtain) with the PVG Scheme is required
