What You Will Do

  • Manage a caseload and conduct thorough assessments, ensuring vulnerable children receive tailored services in a timely manner.

  • Model best practices by using relationship- and strengths-based approaches to engage children and families.

  • Directly work with children to uncover their unique experiences, employing diverse techniques to understand their stories and needs.

  • Implement the Signs of Safety practice model in your interventions with children and families, ensuring consistent, effective support.

  • Maintain precise and confidential records in line with GDPR and Medway Council’s case management systems.

  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports for key meetings such as Child Protection Conferences and court proceedings, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in a permanent role within a Local Authority.

  • Full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle and business cover including passenger carriage.
