What you will do

  • Manage a caseload of children and young people, with a particular focus on Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC).
  • Complete high-quality assessments, plans, and interventions in line with statutory requirements and Families First pathways.
  • Provide specialist safeguarding and care planning support for UASC, ensuring their welfare and best interests are prioritised.
  • Promote stability, resilience, and positive outcomes for children, ensuring their views, wishes, and feelings inform all decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies to meet the holistic needs of children and families.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports for statutory meetings, reviews, and other formal processes.
  • Identify, assess, and manage safeguarding concerns effectively, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date case records.
