What you will do:
- Provide regular supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring the well-being and stability of children in care.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans in collaboration with families, carers, and multi-agency teams.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to support foster placements.
- Facilitate training and development activities for foster carers to enhance their skills and understanding.
- Be an advocate for children and families within the fostering framework, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.
- Participate in team meetings, offering insights and sharing best practices to improve service delivery.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
- Must have current registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated significant frontline experience within the UK social services, working effectively as a qualified social worker.
