What you will do:

Undertake kinship and connected persons assessments, including viability assessments and full fostering assessments in accordance with statutory guidance.
Support and monitor kinship placements, ensuring carers meet the needs of children and comply with fostering standards.
Contribute to care planning and permanence planning, promoting stability and long-term outcomes for children.
Prepare high-quality reports for fostering panels, including detailed assessment reports and review documentation.

Person Specification:

Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent).
Evidence of continued professional development.
Registered with Social Work England.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the Children Act 1989, Fostering Services Regulations 2011, and Care Planning, Placement and Case Review Regulations.
Enhanced DBS clearance.
