Seven Resourcing are recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join a Prison Team in Tullibody. The Role – Social Worker, Prison Team

As a Social Worker within the Prison Team, you will deliver statutory Criminal Justice Social Work services within a custodial setting. You will focus on risk assessment, structured case management, and interventions for individuals in custody, supporting public protection and reducing reoffending.

You will work collaboratively with prison staff, healthcare, education, and justice agencies to provide high-quality, multidisciplinary support to residents.

Key Responsibilities – Social Worker (Prison Team)

• Undertake comprehensive risk assessments using LSCMI and SA07

• Develop, monitor, and review risk management and supervision plans

• Work directly with individuals in custody to support rehabilitation and reintegration

• Prepare high-quality reports for prison management, courts, and parole boards

• Contribute to multidisciplinary case reviews and planning

• Maintain accurate, timely case records in line with statutory requirements

• Ensure effective risk management and safeguarding practices

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification

• Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)

• LSCMI and SA07 trained and experienced

• Experience in Criminal Justice or Prison Social Work

• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, offender management, and custodial frameworks

• Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary custodial environment
