Apply specialist OT knowledge to deliver cost-effective and efficient assessments, interventions, and support for long-term care needs. Consider and assess carer needs, providing appropriate support where eligible. Develop specialist skills in practice education, moving and handling, postural management, or research methods. Support the professional development of team members by sharing knowledge with less experienced OTs. Conduct moving and handling assessments, arrange equipment delivery and demonstrations, and provide written reports with recommendations. Undertake moving and handling reviews and complete plans to maintain the wellbeing of service users and carers. Requirements: HCPC registration is essential.
