This is a full-time, ongoing locum position offering a competitive hourly rate of £30.00.You will be working across several locations including Springfield Green (Chelmsford), Braintree Community Hospital (Braintree), and St Peter’s Hospital (Maldon). Due to multi-site working, being a car owner/driver is preferable. What You Will Do Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of podiatric care for patients with complex needs.Manage patients with conditions including diabetes, vascular disease, rheumatological conditions, neurological disorders, and wound care needs.Apply advanced wound care skills, including infection detection, offloading techniques, and specialist dressings.Perform manual ABPI, Toe Pressure, and Blue Dop (if trained) competently.Assess and treat urgent new patients, working within diabetic foot pathways and high-risk protocols.Work across multiple sites, contributing to high standards of care within the high-risk service. Requirements HCPC registration as a Podiatrist is essential.Experience working within high-risk podiatry services, including diabetic foot care and wound management.Competence in vascular assessments such as ABPI and toe pressures.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.A car owner/driver is preferable due to multi-site working.
