This role offers a hybrid working model and the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people involved in, or at risk of entering, the youth justice system.Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of children and young people subject to statutory and non-statutory youth justice interventionsComplete high-quality assessments of risk, safety, vulnerability, needs, and strengthsDevelop and deliver SMART intervention plans in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency colleaguesProvide 1:1 and family-based interventions across a range of settings including homes, schools, community venues, and the officeSupervise children in line with National Standards, monitoring compliance and progressTake appropriate enforcement action where there is non-compliance or an escalation in riskAttend Youth Court hearings, supporting children and preparing clear written and verbal reportsManage out-of-court disposals, including triage assessments and diversionary interventionsWork closely with partners such as police, children’s social care, health, education, and voluntary agenciesContribute to safeguarding, contextual safeguarding, and multi-agency risk management processesPromote restorative justice approaches and ensure victims’ perspectives are heardMaintain accurate, timely case records and update ChildView systems in line with service requirementsWork in accordance with Child First principles, legislation, and Youth Justice Service policies and procedures Requirements and Experience Experience working with children and young people within youth justice, safeguarding, or a related fieldStrong assessment, report writing, and case management skillsConfidence working in multi-agency environments and court settingsAbility to build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and partnersKnowledge of youth justice legislation, National Standards, and Child First practice Why Work with Seven Resourcing?At Seven Resourcing, we go beyond recruitment.
