This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation operating from a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with significant production capacity.The Role Reporting to the QC Supervisor and QC Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for completing training and carrying out routine analytical laboratory work in compliance with all regulatory and internal standards.You will be expected to work professionally and independently on assigned tests, product samples, or technical areas, maintaining full compliance with: Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Data Integrity standards Good Documentation Practice (GDP) Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements Internal SOPs At Grade II level, you will be recognised as having sufficient technical expertise to perform QC analysis independently across areas such as: Technical Services Incoming Materials Finished Product / IPC About the Company Our client is a highly respected UK-based pharmaceutical manufacturer with over 35 years of industry experience. Following continued growth and internal movement, they are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join their manufacturing leadership team.The Role Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a manufacturing team of approximately 15 direct reports. You will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations while ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, safety, and efficiency. The role also includes deputising for the Manufacturing Manager when required.Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, including blending, granulation, compression, and encapsulation Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, SOPs, MHRA requirements, approved BPRs, and safety policies Plan and allocate resources, manage workflow, and monitor performance against production targets Maintain inspection-ready manufacturing areas with high housekeeping and safety standards Review batch documentation in real time and manage deviations, investigations, and CAPAs Supervise, coach, train, and develop Operators and Senior Operators, including performance management Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation, and equipment upgrades Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, QC, Engineering, Packaging, and Planning teams Ensure production equipment is maintained, calibrated, and available Represent manufacturing during internal and external audits Provide hands-on operational support when required About You You will be an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong background in GMP-regulated environments.Essential requirements: Supervisory or leadership experience within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing Strong GMP and cleanroom experience Experience reviewing batch documentation and managing deviations Confident people management and communication skills Engineering or pharmaceutical qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) What’s On Offer Salary of £42,000 – £45,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday working pattern (8am–4pm) 28 days holiday (inclusive) Pension and bonus scheme Opportunity to work in a modern, high-volume GMP manufacturing environment Long-term career progression within a stable and growing business
