In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfilment, and leading a small team of warehouse staff. You will coordinate tasks, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. If you're looking for an opportunity to take the next step in your career while contributing to the success of a growing team, we'd love to hear from you.Main duties: Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality targetsDelegate daily tasks and ensure workload is distributed evenlyOversee stock control and maintain inventory accuracy through regular checksEnsure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of ordersEnforce health and safety standards and conduct regular safety briefingsTrain new team members and provide ongoing coaching and developmentIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencyMonitor performance metrics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and report any issuesLiaise with management, logistics, and other departments to coordinate operationsAddress and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies or team performanceEnsure all documentation, including shipping logs and inventory records, is accurate and up to dateMaintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations About you: Team support and task coordination in a fast-paced warehouse environmentBasic leadership skills with experience guiding small teams and delegating tasksKnowledge of inventory control practices, including stock checks and discrepancy reportingFamiliarity with health and safety regulations and safe working proceduresHands-on experience with warehouse tools such as pallet trucks and barcode scannersTraining and mentoring new staff on daily processes and safety guidelinesStrong communication skills to support collaboration across teams and shifts Interested?
