What You Will Do Support the engagement of individuals seeking help with substance misuse by introducing them to effective, evidence-based treatment programmes. Deliver open access support, including triage assessments, telephone screenings, needle exchange, and outreach activities. Accurately record all activities in line with national guidelines, including NTA and NICE standards. Facilitate recovery planning and develop assertive links with mutual aid and community resources. Deliver recovery coaching using a range of psychosocial interventions and provide harm reduction services. Work in partnership with other agencies and organisations to implement comprehensive treatment pathways. Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, including child protection and protection of vulnerable adults, in line with statutory requirements. Assist with screening processes and maintain clear professional boundaries at all times. Actively promote the service to service users and stakeholders, maintaining a professional and positive image. Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and continuous professional development. Requirements Essential Experience working within substance misuse, recovery, mental health, or related support services. Strong assessment, engagement, and communication skills. Good understanding of safeguarding, harm reduction, and recovery-focused practice. Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
