What you will do:
- Conduct specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions in acute mental health and community settings
- Exercise strong clinical judgement in complex and crisis situations ensuring patient safety and effective outcomes
- Supervise and support the development of staff and students, contributing to a learning-focused environment
- Participate in service improvements, audits, and outcome measures to enhance patient care quality
- Maintain safe, structured and patient-centred therapeutic environments
- Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration and work with external and third-sector partners for holistic care delivery
- Ensure clear communication, accurate documentation, and adherence to policy compliance
- Exhibit strong organisational skills for effective caseload management and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Please note, possessing a full UK driving licence with access to your own transport is desirable. HCPC registration is required to practise as an Occupational Therapist in this role.
