What You Will Do

  • Conduct and lead paediatric behavioural assessments, including Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), play audiometry, and Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA).

  • Perform tympanometry and speech testing to support comprehensive hearing assessments.

  • Lead and manage paediatric (re)habilitation clinics, utilising expertise in Real Ear Measurements (REM) and coupler verification including Real Ear to Coupler Differences (RECDs).

  • Provide consultant test support within ENT clinics, including PTA, play audiometry, tympanometry, and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs) testing.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance and audiology standards.

  • Support children and their families through clear communication, education, and guidance throughout the diagnostic and rehabilitation process.

Requirements

  • Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in paediatric audiology assessments and rehabilitation.

  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with children and families.

  • Mobility: A valid driving licence may be required to travel between clinic locations if necessary.
