Job Title: Calibration Engineer
Location: Bushey
Salary: £44,000
Shift: Double Days (Early & Late Rotation)

Job Role:
As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of instrumentation and measurement equipment. Working within a fast-paced engineering environment, you will ensure all equipment meets strict quality and compliance standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a methodical approach, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy across all calibration processes.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Proven experience in calibration of electrical, mechanical, or process instrumentation
• Strong understanding of calibration standards and procedures
• Relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)
• Ability to work double days shift pattern

Requirements:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience with UKAS calibration standards
• Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001
• Background in electronics or instrumentation engineering
• Utilities experience (steam, air, water systems etc.)
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
