📦 About the Role

We are currently recruiting Delivery Drivers to join our team at the Dartford (DBR1) depot. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, providing excellent service, and being on the road.

You will be responsible for delivering parcels across South East London efficiently and safely while maintaining high service standards.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels safely and on time within your designated route 
• Load and unload packages from the vehicle 
• Follow planned routes using a delivery app 
• Provide excellent customer service 
• Comply with all road safety and legal requirements 
• Maintain communication with the operations team 

💰 Pay & Benefits

• Standard Route: £175 per day 
• Large Route: £194 per day 
• Fuel Contribution: Approx. £0.20 per business mile 
• Performance Bonus: Weekly team-based incentives 
• Training (Paid): 
  • 1 day online classroom training (£137.70) 
  • 2 days on-road training (£139.50/day) 

🚐 Vehicle Options

Van Hire Available

• Standard Van: £252 per week 
• Large Van: £259 per week 
• Insurance included (excess: £2000) 

Owner Drivers

• Must provide: 
  • Hire & Reward Insurance 
  • Public Liability Insurance (£5,000,000 cover) 

🕒 Working Pattern

• Approx. 9-hour routes per day 
• Flexible working days available 
• Initial nursery routes (reduced workload) progressing to full routes 

✅ Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum 18 years old (21+ for van hire) 
• Full UK or EU driving licence (held for at least 1 year) 
• Maximum 6 penalty points 
• Right to work in the UK 
• National Insurance Number 
• Proof of address (dated within last 3 months) 

🚫 Driving & Legal Restrictions

Applicants must NOT:

• Have more than 6 penalty points 
• Have been disqualified in the last 36 months 
• Have committed more than 3 driving offences in the last 4 years 
• Have any active or serious DVLA endorsements, including (but not limited to): 
  • Drink/Drug offences (DR, DG) 
  • Dangerous driving (DD) 
  • Driving uninsured (IN) 
  • Careless driving (CD) 
  • Theft/unauthorised taking (UT) 
  • Totting up bans (TT) 
• Have:  
  • Insurance cancelled/refused 
  • More than one at-fault accident in last 3 years 
  • Any unspent criminal convictions 

📲 Recruitment & Onboarding Process

1. Initial screening call 
2. Depot visit with required documents 
3. Application form completion 
4. Account setup & app onboarding 
5. Driving licence verification (24 hours) 
6. DBS background check 
7. Contract signing 
8. Training (1 online + 2 on-road days) 
9. Start delivering 

⏱️ Total onboarding time: 1–1.5 weeks
