Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £50000-£52000

Shift:  4 on 4 off nights 

Location: Bicester 

We’re recruiting a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established industrial manufacturer where engineering is taken seriously. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production running at its best through a mix of planned preventative maintenance and fast-paced reactive fault finding.

You’ll be working on a wide range of electrical and mechanical machinery, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and implementing improvements that genuinely reduce downtime and boost reliability. The role also offers involvement in new installations, equipment upgrades, and PLC-controlled systems, giving you variety and technical challenge beyond the day-to-day.  You’ll be practical, proactive, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a close-knit engineering team.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

•  Have an electrical engineering qualification.
• Needs to have Electrical and Mechanical Skills
• Industrial/Manufacturing Background
• Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
• Must be happy to work a permanent nights shift
