What you will do:

Provide direct support to children in care, including building relationships and promoting emotional wellbeing.
Support the implementation of care plans and placement plans, ensuring children’s needs are met.
Supervise and facilitate family contact sessions, ensuring safe and positive interactions.
Assist with life skills development, including education, routines, and independence skills.
Work collaboratively with social workers, carers, schools, and partner agencies to support care planning.

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent or willingness to work towards
Evidence of continued professional development

Registration and Compliance:

Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as the Children Act 1989, Care Planning, Placement and Case Review Regulations, and Safeguarding Children procedures
Enhanced DBS clearance is essential
