NOW HIRING: Groundworker - Highways Project (M60 J19)
Location: M60 Junction 19 (OL10 2LG)
Pay Rate: £16.28 per hour (PAYE)
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting an experienced Groundworker to join our team on a major highways project at M60 Junction 19. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled operative with strong groundwork experience to be part of a busy and long-term infrastructure project.
Role Overview
As a Groundworker, you will be carrying out a wide range of groundwork duties on a live highways site, supporting the delivery of essential infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out all aspects of groundwork, including drainage, ducting, and foundations
Performing general groundwork duties to support site progress
Assisting with kerbing, flagging, and concreting as part of groundwork operations
Excavation and preparation works for groundwork activities
Ensuring all groundwork tasks are completed safely and efficiently
Working closely with site supervisors and other trades on groundwork elements
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health & safety procedures on site
Requirements
Proven experience in groundwork on construction or highways projects
Strong knowledge of all aspects of groundwork
Valid CSCS blue skilled card (essential)
Highways or civils groundwork experience (preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
Valid Right to Work in the UK
