Housing Business Support Supervisor
Location: Lyndhurst
Salary: 18.48 per hour
Contract: Full-time, 9 Months fixed term contract - April 2026 - 31st December 2026
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Housing Business Support Supervisor to lead our administrative team within the Housing Support Hub. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality housing services, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service for tenants, residents, and stakeholders.
You will oversee day-to-day business support functions, manage a small team, and play a vital role in maintaining service standards, handling customer enquiries, and supporting housing operations including repairs, complaints, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop a team of Business Support Officers and administrative staff
- Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Support housing services with customer enquiries, complaints handling, and case management
- Coordinate responses to issues such as repairs, damp, mould, and disrepair cases
- Monitor performance, workloads, and service delivery against KPIs and targets
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to service improvements, procedures, and operational planning
- Provide support across the wider housing service, including during peak demand periods
About You
We are seeking someone who is highly organised, customer-focused, and confident in managing both people and processes.
You will have:
- Proven experience in an administrative role within a busy environment
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience handling customer queries and complaints
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
Desirable:
- Experience within housing, maintenance, or public sector services
- Knowledge of housing systems or scheduling/repairs processes

Working Hours
This role supports a service operating between:
- 08:00 – 17:15 Monday to Thursday
- 08:00 – 16:45 Friday
Flexibility is required to ensure service coverage.
