Linux Systems Administrator (Ubuntu/Red Hat)

Hybrid (commutable from Cheshire, Manchester, Staffordshire, or Chester)

We’re hiring a Linux Systems Administrator to join a growing tech for good company where you’ll help build and run modern infrastructure that delivers real-world impact. This is a hands-on role combining infrastructure projects and operational support in a fast-moving, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and improve Linux environments (Ubuntu and/or Red Hat)
• Support and develop AWS cloud infrastructure
• Automate systems using IaC tools
• Troubleshoot and optimise live production systems
• Contribute to infrastructure projects as we scale

Skills & experience

• Strong Linux administration experience
• Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python (essential)
• Experience with AWS (would be ideal – other cloud providers would work)
• Familiarity with Terraform and/or Ansible
• Practical problem-solver and strong team collaborator
