Machine Operators in Telford, West Midlands

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for Machine Operators to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering;

• Basic hourly rate of £12.85 per hour
• Temporary ongoing position, which could lead to permanent for the right person
• Overtime rates paid at x1.5 for working Saturdays, and Double Time for Sundays
• Working on a Panama Shift which is on a 2 weekly rotating pattern - 4 days 1 week, 3 days the next week, 4 nights 1 weeks, 3 nights the next, 6pm-6am
• Free Parking

The Role – Machine Operator:

• Loading & Unloading rolls onto the machine
• Prepping the machine
• Bagging & Tagging of products
• Read and follow instructions along with other data available to ensure the machine is fed with the correct materials
• Maintain good housekeeping and effective planning to ensure the machine does not stand due to lack of forward planning
• Complete all documentation as required and communicate using the shift handover book together with verbal communication when taking over and handing over the shift
• Report all machine faults as they occur
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as and when required by the Management

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

• You MUST have experience operating Machinery within a FMCG environment
• Able to follow instructions, along with health & safety guidelines
