An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Orthopaedic & Medical Ward Team in the Isle of Man. What You Will Do

Provide specialist occupational therapy input on acute medical and orthopaedic wards.

Assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients to promote independence and safe discharge.

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support effective discharge planning and patient flow.

Manage patients with complex needs, including those with cardiac and medical conditions.

Complete comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate treatment and discharge plans.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
Requirements

HCPC registration is essential.

A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in an acute hospital setting, ideally with orthopaedic and medical experience.

Experience in discharge planning and multidisciplinary team working.

Car driver is preferable due to potential travel between sites.

Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills.
