What you will do:
- Deliver exceptional patient care across medical and surgical settings, catering to both simple and complex cases.
- Operate with a high level of independence, utilising the nursing process to develop tailored care plans for each patient.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring clear communication between patients, caregivers, families, and the health team.
- Utilise clinical and hospital resources effectively, assuming in-charge duties when required.
- Specialise in areas such as orthopaedics, postoperative care, stroke, or telemetry, providing expert care and management.
Qualifications/Experience & Registration required:
- Current registration with the Bermuda Nursing & Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse within a medical or surgical environment.
- Certifications in BCLS are essential, with preference given to candidates with stroke certification, NIHSS certification, or demonstrated neuro experience.
