What you will do:

- Facilitate service user choice and empowerment through promoting independence and strength-based practice, enabling residents to maintain their independence and community connections for as long as possible.
- Assist with the management of budgets, ensuring timely and effective processes, including authorising assessments and arranging necessary funding to meet individual support plans.
- Undertake statutory intervention where service users are at risk, handling situations like neglect or abuse, and chair Section 42 Safeguarding Adults Enquiries as needed.

- Conduct regular professional supervision for team practitioners, aligning with the Council’s Policies, Procedures, and Professional Standards.
- Manage the duty team, overseeing incoming referrals and safeguarding concerns to ensure that these are handled promptly and effectively.
