What you will do:

- Chair Looked After Child (LAC) Reviews in line with the IRO Handbook, ensuring every child's needs are fully considered.
- Ensure care plans are tailored, timely, and centred on permanence to achieve the best outcomes for the children.
- Monitor the local authority’s adherence to statutory duties, taking action where necessary.
- Escalate any unresolved issues through effective dispute resolution processes to prompt necessary changes.
- Place the child's views, wishes, and feelings at the forefront to ensure their voices are not only heard but acted upon.
- Maintain ongoing contact with children between reviews to keep updated with their circumstances and wellbeing.
