Social Worker within Youth Offending Team – Wolverhampton, UK
Salary: £30.57 per hour
Duration: 27/04/2026 - 3 Months
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week (09:00 AM - 05:00 PM)

Here’s an exhilarating opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Youth Offending Team in Wolverhampton. We are seeking an individual who is social work or probation officer trained with invaluable Youth Justice Service experience to make a real difference over the next three months. As part of this role, you will be helping children transition smoothly from Youth Justice Services to probation, ensuring their journey is well-guided. - Work closely with young people in the Youth Justice Service preparing them for transition and integration into the probation framework.
- Manage and plan interventions aimed at preventing reoffending, while providing comprehensive support to youth and their families.

- Record and report on each case effectively, maintaining high standards of documentation in line with organisational requirements.
- Attend and contribute to meetings and court appearances as necessary, advocating for the needs and best interests of the young individuals under your care.
