What you will do

• Provide regular supervision, support, and guidance to 19 approved foster carers in line with Fostering Services Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards.

• Undertake annual reviews, ensuring compliance with fostering agreements and monitoring carer performance and care standards.

• Contribute to the assessment of prospective foster carers, including completing Form F assessments and presenting findings at fostering panels.

• Support placement stability and permanence planning for children in foster care, working closely with child social workers and multi-agency partners.

Person Specification
Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent).

• Completion of ASYE or equivalent post-qualifying experience in children’s social care.

Registration & Compliance

• Registered with Social Work England.

• Strong knowledge of Fostering Services Regulations 2011, National Minimum Standards for Fostering, and relevant legislation including the Children Act 1989/2004.

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures, placement stability frameworks, and corporate parenting responsibilities.
