You will plan and coordinate daily and weekly production schedules to ensure work orders are completed on time, prioritising jobs effectively and allocating resources to meet demand. As Welding Supervisor, you will maintain a visible presence within the workshop, monitor productivity and efficiency, challenge underperformance, and drive continuous improvement to increase output and reduce waste.Duties will include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, welding procedures and bills of materials, ensuring quality standards are consistently met, managing non-conformances and rework, and enforcing health & safety procedures including tool-box talks, risk assessments and COSHH compliance.
