What you will do Identify and implement opportunities for safe and effective single-handed care solutions tailored to individual service users. Assess moving and handling needs and recommend appropriate assistive equipment, including hoists, slide sheets, and transfer aids. Deliver training to staff on safe moving and handling techniques and single-handed care approaches. Monitor outcomes to ensure quality, safety, and service user satisfaction, adjusting plans where necessary. Contribute to risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support safe discharge planning and community care. About you HCPC registered Occupational Therapist. Experience within moving and handling, manual handling assessment, or community occupational therapy. Strong understanding of risk assessment and single-handed care principles.
