This role sits outside of the clinical CMHT, allowing you to focus purely on statutory social work practice. Manage s42 safeguarding enquiries and associated protection planning. Prepare Mental Health Tribunal Social Circumstances Reports. Work using a strengths-based approach, promoting independence and recovery. Participate in duty work, responding to urgent and emerging cases. Work collaboratively with health, housing, and other partner agencies. What We’re Looking For Essential Degree or equivalent in Social Work. Registered with Social Work England. Minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience in Adult Mental Health. Strong working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding procedures. Experience managing complex caseloads. Confident in assessment, report writing, and multi-agency working. Desirable Previous experience working in a Local Authority Mental Health Social Care Team.
